KJ did get more triples and stolen bases than Escobar last season (even though he played a few months longer than Escobar), but I believe the ESPN guys were right the other day that the only thing Escobar didn't have compared to the rest of the SS in the NL East is great speed. Again though, like Frenchy and McCann, you could go either way with those two at leadoff and the #2 spot.

Re: Roster Predicitons

I like McCann batting 5th ahead of Frenchy, but I also would want Escobar batting leadoff and KJ in the #2 hole. I know he can work the count and get on and all, but I also think he's probably better at bunting and Escobar just seems like he has to be speedier.

Re: Roster Predicitons

You can't really go wrong either way.

Re: Roster Predicitons

While I like the lineup you posted, I think Bobby is going to have Francoeur batting fifth the majority of the time. That said, I still think they'd be better off with McCann there because he's a more consistent hitter.
