Catcher's Blog: Is KJ really “off the hook”?

All true about KJ.
But, I don't think being there for your team means cheering for them no matter what. I mean, I could never stop being a Braves fan, but this team has been defeating itself. They have more than enough talent and have had more than enough opportunities to rise above the ample adversities that they've faced this year, and they have consistently blown those opportunities. Let's not forget that the team has a responsibility to us, as well, to play the best baseball they can. So, I'll still be in my seat at the Ted all season long, but you can bet my enthusiasm will be muted until Frenchy, et al. start playing the caliber of baseball that we all know they are capable of playing.

@Shaun - Good point. I agree with what you're saying. I, too, get discouraged at how lousy they play sometimes, I proceed to yell at my TV more often than not, and I expect them to play better most times than they've ended up doing lately. I'm just saying I'm not going to stop being a fan of the team because of their rough goings lately, like some people I've read about lately that think the season's over already. I hope they play better, but I'll still be cheering them on, hoping for the best.
